When you volunteer at Champaign County Nursing Home, you provide many things that add to the quality of life of our residents. Thank you for considering CCNH.

Do you have musical talent? There are opportunites for you to share that talent. The first Wednesday of every month, we have an Ice Cream Social that begins at 6:45 p.m. The last Thursday of every month, we have Root Beer Floats that begins at 6:45 p.m. Both take place in our East Dining Room and the program should be less than 45 minutes. There is a piano there for your use.

If you would like to offer music for dinner time (our piano or your own instrument or voice), you can come in anytime after 4:30 p.m. You can share your music for as long as you have people there to appreciate it.

Send an email; take some time to do the right thing: jhronek@co.champaign.il.us.

“I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me-like food or water.” Ray Charles
